最古老的電子導航設備，在一些沒有儀表著陸系統的小機場附近，常建有廉價的NDB台站，
用作導航、著陸指引。其名稱「無方向性」是指台站向各個方向發射的信號都是一樣的.

NDBfinderdetectsNDBtransmissionsusingthesoundcardinyourPC.
YouneedasuitableLF/MFbandradioreceivertunedtoanappropriate
frequencyinthenavigationalbeaconband.Theprogramprocessesthe
audiosignalfromthereceiverandshowsyousignalsthatarehidden
inthenoise.SignalView-displaystherawaudiosignalsonyourPC
screeninadiagnosticdisplaywhichhelpsyoutosetupthe
connectionandthesoundcard.SpectrumView-displaysascrolling
spectrumofthereceivedaudiosignalfrequenciesonyourPCscreen.
Youseeanimmediatedisplayofthemosecodeidentificationifthe
beaconisreceivedwithgoodstrength.Bydefaultthedisplaycovers
0-3kHzbutotheraudiofrequencyrangescanbespecifiedbytheuser.
SpectralDensitydisplay-showstheoverallSpectralDensityofthe
accumulateddata.Onthisdisplay,youcandiscovermorsecode
identificationsthataretooweaktobeseenontheSpectrumView.
Periodicitydisplay-showsananalysisofanyperiodicitiesinthe
patterninthechosenaudiofrequency.Ifthereisamorsecode
identificationburiedinthenoiseattheselectedaudiofrequency,
itsperiodicitywillbebetrayedbyaspikeinthisdisplay.
Integrateddisplay-showstheresultofaboxcarintegrationofthe
signalatthechosenfrequencyandwiththespecifiedperiod.Ifthe
signalisprocessedforseveralminutes,hugeimprovementsinthe
signal-to-noiseratiocanbeacheived.Thiscanmakethedifference
betweenasignalbeingundetectableandbeingeasytoidentify.
BeaconIdentification-Theprogramcandecodeanddisplaythe
three-letteridentificationofthesignalthatyouhavedetected.Log
file-Theprogramcanautomaticallysavetheidentification,the
audioheterodyne,andtheidentperiodtoalogfile.Playback-The
programcanplaybacktheaudioresultingfromadditionofmultiple
identssothatthesignalcanbeidentifiedaurally.Script-The
programcanexecuteacommandscripttoallowfullyautomated
monitoringandsurveying.
